Faith and Finances Group, Co. is organized to benefit people who are financially challenged, the financially uniformed and seniors who are in need of help to preserve and accumulate money to prepare for particular issues related to their senior years. The purpose of this organization is to produce socially and morally well adjusted individuals who are productive citizens that are financially independent. Individuals that will not have to worry about outliving their money or how to pay their bills.
We will evaluate applicants who have directly applied or who have been referred from churches, other charities or financial institutions. If the applicant is willing to undergo faith based financial counseling and desires to improve their finances, they will be assigned a personal coach who will consult with them and build a specific plan for them. We may refer them to various resources depending on their particular situation.
We will help with a plan to get them on a straight path to a strong faith and financial independence.
Faith and Finance Group, Co. conducts informational meetings approximately three to four hours in length at as many churches as care to host such an event. All who are in attendance will be given information on financial principles from bible verses concerning tithing, money, debt and savings.
Each person in attendance will be given a registration/response card. These cards will be entered in a drawing for prizes. On this card they can ask that no one follow up with them. They may ask for more information. They may ask for a personal Coach or Counselor to call on them to offer help with their faith or their finances. If the request involves matters of faith, the request will be referred to the pastor of the church where they attended the meeting. If it involves helping the person with their finances, one of the Coaches from Faith and Finances Group will follow up with them for assistance with their finances. This will be done by reinforcing their Christian Faith, getting them out of debt, cleaning up their credit, teaching them financial responsibility and showing them how to save up money for their future.
Other activities of F&FG will include making a personalized plan to take a person from their present situation to financial stability or even financial independence through education on financial matters and through referrals to services and resources available to meet some of their most critical needs. F&FG is affiliated with other charitable and personal help organizations consequently, much of the help available is done by referral to one of affiliated organizations, such as: His Helping Hands, Love Inc. Catholic Services, All Faiths Food Distribution, The Kansas Food Bank, Fresh Hope or a church benevolence program.
Joe and Jackie Prickett, Ronald Badger Attorney at Law, with the help of many trained volunteers and local pastors.
Sometimes the organization's events will be promoted by a church's newsletter, bulletin, video presentations and announcements at church services in advance of the meetings. Fliers may be distributed in the community near the church where the event is being held. Christian Radio Stations have offered free on air announcements of these events. Sometimes Counselors at various churches or charities do refer people to F&FG for help. Faith and Finances Group, Co. does have a website, some people may inquire through the website asking for information or assistance. In some cases an individual may have come directly for Coaching on faith and finances or from one of our current or previous beneficiaries.
